Diversity, equity and inclusive excellence are indispensable parts of the Old Dominion University experience. Each year, the Office of Institutional Equity & Diversity joins with the President’s Task Force on Inclusive Excellence to honor and celebrate individuals who encourage and advance the principles of equity and diversity at ODU.

To be selected as Diversity Champion, the nominee must have:
•Demonstrated and actively assisted in moving the University towards becoming a more consciously and deliberately inclusive community
•Leveraged opportunities at Old Dominion to enhance the educational, employment, or community experience
