The purpose of the ISAB Scholarship awarded by CGE-VISA is to assist non-immigrant students at ODU with expenses for educational and development opportunities outside regular coursework. In partnership with the International Student Advisory Board, the VISA office will give 25 students per academic year grants of up to $1000 to support their endeavors. Scholarships are available for any event after August 24, 2024. Grants are awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis until the funds are depleted. We will begin accepting applications for the 24/25 academic year on July 1, 2024. Application review for the 24/25 academic year will begin on August 24, 2024. Student Eligibility requirements • Currently enrolled as a degree seeking student at ODU • Valid non-immigrant visa status (ex. F-1, J-1, H-4, NATO) • Completed at least 1 Fall/Spring semester at ODU • Completed all ESL coursework • Good academic standing (GPA of 3.0 for Graduate Students, 2.0 for Undergraduate Students) • Good disciplinary standing DEADLINE: • Completed applications must be submitted at least 30 DAYS PRIOR to the start of activity. Late applications and incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
