For F-1 Students Requesting Extension of Current Form I-20:

Extensions will not be processed until 30 days before your document expires. Your document can be extended for a maximum of two semesters for Master's students and three for Bachelors and PhD students.

Your electronic request must include two items:

1) Financial Documentation (Graduate Assistantship letter, Bank Statement, Financial Affidavit of Support, etc.)

2) Recommendation for Extension of Visa Document (File Location: odu.edu/visa/forms)
