Application for Active Duty/Veteran Tuition Rates

Due by 11:59 PM on the first day of classes of the term for which you are applying
Per the Code of Virginia §23.1-504--505, active duty military personnel residing in the Commonwealth, retired military personnel residing in the Commonwealth at the time of their retirement, or veterans who voluntarily elect to establish the Commonwealth as their permanent residence for the purpose of domicile, should use this form to apply for the in-state tuition benefit at ODU.**
A separate form must be submitted for each person requesting the benefit.

If your SLR is Virginia, and you have not already done so, please also complete and submit a standard Application for In-State Tuition. Both applications combined will help us give you the correct Active Duty residency code, which will also help to ensure correct Financial Aid for you, and University Census reporting for the school. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
If your SLR is not Virginia, and you will not be living in Virginia while attending your classes, you must make sure your Campus Location is coded to "WEB7/WC7" or "Online; Outside VA." If your Campus Location is "Online; In VA" or "On Campus," please complete and submit a Campus Change Request located on the ODU Registrar Forms page. This will render the Technology-Delivered Tuition Rates for your classes instead of the Out-of-State Rates.
